Anniversary Sale: July 29,30,31
Having opened in July 2021, New4You is celebrating with a fabulous sale. On July 29, 30, and 31, everything in the shop will be 50 percent off its normally low price. Get ready for this bargain weekend.
Miriam Raskin, a manager with New4You, along with other active volunteers, presented a $20,000 check to Sharon Flynn, Philanthropic Gifts Advisor, and Cory Uttsey, Howard University intern, from Shepherd's Table, on July 7th. After only one year in business, the thrift shop was thrilled to have made three donations totaling $32,000 to the charity, thanks to its volunteers, donators, and customers. Shepherd's Table is using the funds to purchase food for its three-meal a day program, which serves over 1,000 people per week. The money also supports the charity's new mobile meal program, which serves Riverdale and Aspen Hill's growing number of Afghan and other immigrants, and its new initiative to offer chef's training.
New4You was named as a "Best New Place to Shop" by Bethesda Magazine editors. As stated on page 107 of the January 2022, issue,, "Downtown Bethesda gained a shop that is big on space--and also big on doing good....you never know what you might find--but you do know you're helping those in need when you make a purchase." During its first year of operation, all profits are being donated to Shepherd's Table.
The shop's all--volunteer staff is very grateful for this recognition.
As of May 1, 2022, hours of operation are:
Wednesday to Saturday: 11-4
Sunday: 12-4
Note: When Montgomery County schools are closed because of weather conditions, the thrift shop is also closed.
Payments may be made by credit or debit cards -- except American Express --and cash. We will also accept Google Pay and Apple Pay.

Check out this recently donated, lovely Four Hands Harlow coffee table. A gunmetal Parson’s base with hand-rubbed, dimensional edges supports a rough-hewn bluestone slab. It is 60 inches long, 28 inches wide, and 17 inches high.
We are located near two municipal parking lots which are free on Saturdays & Sundays.
One, at 4925 Del Ray Avenue, also has an entrance on Auburn.
The other lot has entrances on 4935 Cordell and St. Elmo.
If you are just dropping off donations, you can park briefly in the lot at 4909 Del Ray, our back entrance. Go straight back to the end of the lot, ring the door bell, and a volunteer will help you unload.
The free Bethesda Circulator and the #34 Ride-On bus travel to and from the Bethesda Metro station. Both stop at the corner of Old Georgetown Road and Cordell Avenue.
The boutique is a ten-minute walk from the Bethesda Metrorail Station. Walk north on Old Georgetown Road to Cordell, turn right on Cordell to 4909.
