Winter means holidays. Want something new to wear?
These two customers came to the thrift shop to find the perfect garments to wear to special events and were thrilled with their purchases.
Ladies, check out all our party dresses and outfits. Men, you, too, can find the items you need. See shoes and accessories also. And don't forget our children's room , filled with clothing, books and games.
Bethesda Magazine recognized New4You for 2024 as a Best of Best of Bethesda finalist as it did for 2023. Since the store opened in 2021, the magazine's editors named the shop as a "Best New Place to Shop. As stated in the January 2022 issue, page 107, "Downtown Bethesda gained a shop that is big on space--and also big on doing good--you never know what you might find, but you do know you're helping those in need when you make a purchase.
The boutique's goal is to donate all profits to local charities New4You presented its semi-annual donation of $80,000 to two local charities. Shepherd's Table and Voices for Children Montgomery. Each received $40,000. It was the largest single donation New4You has given since the shop opened in 2021.
In addition to representatives from the charities and shop volunteers, Montgomery Councilman Evan Glass (center, back row) also attended. He presented New4You with a framed certificate, praising the shop's philanthropy for "uplifting the community and doing so in style."
Customers found this glass table at the shop and sent us this photo with their artistic decorations under the glass top. Keeping the shop stocked with small furniture is challenging, because such items are popular. Do you have small pieces, such as tables, dressers, bookcases, lamps, and chairs that you no longer need? When you have an item in good condition that you want to donate, please call the shop first to make sure we have room to display it: 301-656-2002
